This erect plant produces many double flowers on stiff stems. The rose-pink flowers have four petals, widening at the outer edge and up to 2 in. across when open. The cut flowers are good for indoor decoration. Excellent for poor, sandy soils. Also known as Rocky Mountain Garland or Satin Flower. A native of American and named after the person who found it, the flowers standout in crowd, always one of the first to bloom, often lasting a long time, especially in cool summers. Bears double flowers of pink, red and white along the erect stems. Makes a wonderful border.
