Growing instructions
Start indoors 8-10 weeks before planting out . Direct sowing is not reliable. Spread the seeds above the soil and spray water so that the seeds do not float or move. These seeds need light to germinate and so provide bright light and it should germinate in 10 days. Sow in mineral rich soil with neutral pH. Plant out the antirrhinums with a space of 20-30 cm between each plant. Dig an individual hole for each plant – the hole should be deep enough to cover the roots but not any of the exposed stem. Gently firm into the ground, and water. When seedlings have developed about 6 true leaves, pinch the top of the stem off, to encourage branching and a fuller plant. Regular deadheading will keep your snapdragons blooming longer. Antirrhinum are suitable for beds and pots and cut flower
