The Ice Plant grows mostly in flat, sandy plains, are drought resistant and are profuse flowering plants. It is a very showy succulent with shiny colorful flowers, growing 4-6″ Inches high that makes a great choice for Miniature and Fairy Gardens. Leaves spread slightly as the plants grow older. The leaves are small, green in color and covered with shiny dots, resembling ice. The flowers are single. Color varies from white to pink and shades of orange and yellow. Flowering is from August to mid October. USDA Zones 5-10.
